Grabber Catch Latches

Get an extra degree of closure force on doors, with this compact latch's internal spring-loaded pawl that provides over-center latching. The built-in pull-up provides tension to help prevent looseness or rattle of the door against the frame. Built-in microswitch option provides added functionality.

Product Features and Benefits
Latching function is accomplished in a relatively low-profile mechanism, just 13.7 mm (.54") thick. Over-center action actually pulls door tighter to latch, releasing it when you pull to open door.
  • Latches can be mounted in any orientation; catch and keeper are marked to match proper orientation
  • Mounting options allow you to mount latch catch in face or along side of frame
  • All models provide three choices of consistent pull-up forces: 13 N (3 lbs.), 22 N (5 lbs.), and 44 N (10 lbs.)
  • All models feature corrosion-resistant materials

Available Options

  • Available in Snap-In and Side-Mount Styles
  • Microswitch Style available to open and close switch contacts with door operation
  • Latches and/or keepers available in black or white
  • Keeper function can be molded into door

Standards and Specifications

  • Microswitch version is UL listed, with UL94-V0 flammability rating for all plastic materials
  • Flammability rating for ABS components of other Grabber Catch latches is UL94-HB
