The flexible design of the swell action operation makes it
practical for use in blind installation applications and with a wide
variety of panel and frame materials. All styles are easy to install, with
just a single hole in the door and one in the frame. No receptacle is
required on frame.
- Rubber collar swells to provide compressive action and deliver a
good, quiet seal
- Multiple actuation styles fit a variety of application requirements
for speed/convenience of access, space constraints, and flush mounting.
- Lever-style 19 Class functions as a latch and a handle in one
assembly, installs with affixing of a single nut
- Flush-style 19 Class functions like handle-actuated style mounted
within cup recessed into door panel, permits clean, non-protruding panel
design, installs with simple push-on retainer
- Rotary-action 84 Class can be actuated with just a quarter turn of
hand or tool operation to hold panels snug under short term or
intermittent loading

- Plastic lever-style latches available in a variety of colors to
complement automotive interior applications
- A variety of installation tools and angle brackets are available for
assembling the appropriate swell latch styles
- NOTE: Latches should not be loaded continuously
at values near the short term rated load
