Copper Compression C-Taps

Copper Compression C-Taps A new line of stamped and formed copper compression C-TAPS is available from Panduit Corp., Tinley Park, IL. Manufactured from high-conductivity copper, the new C-TAP is designed for economical copper-to-copper tapping, splicing or pigtailing that provides parallel and multiple tap connections, range taking capabilities and lower installed costs.

In addition to furnishing quality high-pullout crimps, the C-TAPS feature ribs that locate the crimp die and reinforce the crimp joint. Each C-TAP is marked with an easy-to-read part number and color coded to match the correct die-set. The C-TAP produces UL Listed and CSA certified connections when crimped with the Panduit CT-740 hand crimping tool, an ergonomically designed, controlled cycle tool. The CT-740 features a one-piece comfort grip handle and provides consistent quality crimps.
