Termination - Power Connectors
Power Connectors are copper or aluminum connectors that are used to terminate the end of cables or wires, in order to provide electrical connectivity or grounding to equipment. The connectors are manually fastened to the end of wires, either by mechanical methods for reusable use, or crimped to the end by compression means for permanent use. Power Connectors are also utilized to connect multiple wires together to form continuous permanent electrical connections. A Power Connector for a specific application is selected based upon the size and type of wire to be used, and if applicable, to the device it will eventually be fastened to. |
