Tubular Ring Terminals

Tubular Ring Terminals New tubular ring terminals that provide heavy duty strength under demanding applications have been introduced by Panduit Corp., Tinley Park, IL. Designed for 8 AWG thru 250 MCM wire sizes, the terminals feature a seamless copper barrel for consistent, high quality crimps. In addition, Panduit tubular ring terminals contain a double thick tongue, making them ideal for high vibration applications.

Panduit's latest terminal product line offers several key benefits to the end-user. Because the part number and wire size are stamped on the tongue of the tubular ring terminal, component identification is quick and easy. Panduit tubular ring terminals are designed for easy cable entry to speed production and lower installed cost. Unlike conventional terminals containing seams that are prone to splitting, the seamless Panduit barrel design provides consistent, high quality crimps time after time. A built-in inspection hole in the terminal permits the visual inspection that assures proper wire insertion for a quality crimp. In addition, long term performance is enhanced by the terminal's electro-tin plated surface which provides excellent corrosion resistance. The entire series of Panduit tubular ring terminals may be crimped by using a variety of hand-operated, hydraulically-operated or battery-operated assembly tools.
