Tak-Ty™ Brand Cable Ties Panduit Corp., Wiring Components Division, announces the introduction
of a complete line of Tak-Ty™ Brand Cable Ties. These new Panduit ties
are genuine Tak-Ty™ Brand hook and loop fasteners, made specially for Panduit.
Available in four styles, the new ties provide ease of installation and
release and permit reuse in applications where changes are anticipated
or continuous access is required.
Panduit Tak-Ty™ Brand Cable Ties are easily installed and adjusted without tools. The wide strap bodies spread stress loads and offer excellent performance in high vibration areas. The low profile of the ties make them ideal for tight areas or when multiple bundles are placed together. The ties are designed for high cycle life, offering many reuses and eliminating waste. The unique function and application of these ties make them ideal for applications where overtightening is a concern. Four styles of Panduit Tak-Ty™ Brand Cable Ties comprise a very complete product offering. All feature hook material on one side and loop material on the opposite, allowing the ties to be fastened simply by wrapping the tie back on itself. Panduit HLT Series ties closely resemble the shape and function of a cable tie, permitting application much like a plastic tie. An added provision of the HLT tie allows a screw or other fastener to anchor the bundle to a solid surface. Two sizes of HLT ties are available covering 2" and 3" maximum bundle diameters. Panduit HLS Series ties are discrete length strips, which wrap back on themselves to fasten a bundle. HLS ties are supplied in rolls and scored every six, twelve, or eighteen inches, allowing a strip of the desired length to be pulled from the roll and applied. HLS-15R ties are fifteen (15) foot continuous rolls of 3/4" wide material, permitting custom lengths of product to be cut from the roll and used as required. Panduit HLT, HLS and HLS-15R ties come in ten (10) colors including red, orange, yellow, blue, green, black, gray, tan, violet, and white. HLC Series ties come in black only and employ a cinch ring to achieve tighter bundles. Two sizes of HLC ties cover 3" and 5" maximum bundle diameters.
