Drive Rivet Insertion Tools


Micro Plastics' tough, lightweight drive rivet insertion tool makes the assembly of our Poly Rivets even more economical.
This tool provides faster assembly and more accurate placement, and positions in hard to reach areas. A Large plunger head and an easy-grip handle reduce operator fatigue.
Rivets do not have to be predriven. In use, a rivet is loaded in the tool and inserted in a prepared hole, pressure on the plunger frees the pin and expands the rivet in the assembly. Three sizes are available to cover all standard drive rivets. Tools are color coded for identification.

The Pneumatic Drive Rivet Tool is especially suited for hard to reach or delicate assemblies encountered on all kinds of mechanical/electrical components, appliances, P.C. board assemblies, relays, switches, controls, etc.

The durable, lightweight alloy insert tool weighs only 22 ounces and features an easy-grip, non-slip, straight case for single-hand fatigue-free operation and is equipped with a suspension bail for overhead connections on bench type precision assemblies. The insert tool can be safely used in all positions.

In operation, the rivet is loaded in the tool and inserted in the prepared hole, slight pressure activates the pneumatic swich and the rivet is driven into the assembly effortlessly.

The tool is designed to use standard shop air, with an operating pressure range of 50 to 70 PSI with instant cycling time. One tool will drive all standard rivet sizes, three interchangeable driver attachmments are included. Mandrel sizes are .075, .125, and .150.
