Complementing Keystone's current product line are these insulated male pin jacks and spring contact plugs that are color coded for easy identification. These shrouded plugs and jacks prevent electrical shock and offer low insertion and withdrawal force design that makes these durable parts desirable when multiple insertions are necessary. The precision spring contacts offer low contact resistance making them ideal for critical applications.

Shrouded spring contact plugs are available for 20AWG to 22AWG wire and can be crimped or soldered. They are manufactured with a gold plated, beryllium copper spring contact, housed in a brass, gold plated body and insulated with a polycarbonate shell.

The shrouded, pin jacks feature a gold plated brass pin, a polycarbonate insulator and a nickel plated brass locknut.

The color coded shells and insulators are available in white, red, black, green, yellow and blue.

Shrouded plugs and jacks have a current rating of 7 Ampere, a 3500VRMS breakdown voltage and .010 Ohms max. contact resistance. Operating temperature is -66ºF to +185ºF. (-55ºC to +85ºC).
