Pressfit and final dimensions

All Iglide bearings are designed to be press-fit into a housing bore. The material specs sheets provide exact housing bore dimensions for each Iglide size.

Iglide polymer bearings rely on the proper press-fit to achieve their final ID dimensions and tolerances, including roundness. Iglide bearings are slightly oval before press-fit, but conform to the roundness of the housing bore. Therefore, QC measurements must be taken after the bearing has been installed into a housing bore!
