• Assembly Friendly!  Independent of insertion into the chassis, Lockit Strain Reliefs self-lock onto the cable.  Thus, they may be pre-assembled off-line for final assembly at a later time or remote location, for a lower installed cost!  Large mounting hole design allows passage of plugs or bulky assemblies during Lockit installation.
• Lockit SRs hold so well they pass the UL pull-out test requirement with or without chassis support.
• They protect the lifeline of your electric/electronic products by absorbing the forces of push and pull that may be exerted on the flexible power cord.  Their rectangular design eliminates the possibility of part rotation under forces of twist!
• Eight finger design securely locks into .032" chassis thickness.
• Finger-tip pressure snaps the Lockit into the mounting hole.
• Molded of type 6/6 nylon.  ASTM D-4066; flammability classification 94V-2; temperature index 125°C. Maximum temperature on the part shall not exceed 105°C.

Semi-automatic assembly machine for ST100 and 101 Lockit Strain Reliefs.   Suitable for high volume production runs, where batched subassemblies are desirable.  Includes vibratory fee bowl, track and head.  The operator simply inserts the cable into the assembly head slot, then presses the foot pedal to secure Lockit permanently onto the wire.  These completed subassemblies can be installed with fingertip pressure into the application's mounting hole - at a later time, in a different place, for a lower installed cost!
