Magnaseal™ Pipe Plug

Currently under development, Camcar Textron's Magnaseal pipe plug eliminates tapping costs and shows improved sealing over other designs.

  • Thread-forming design forms NPTF-standard threads
  • Three unique, annular sealing rings provide 360° of sealing
  • Tapered body design
  • Can be removed and reinstalled without thread damage
  • Available with or without an external head
  • Eliminates time and expense of tapping and risk of cross threading
  • Preliminary lab testing shows resistance to spiral leakage
  • Can be replaced with an NPTF pipe plug for field serviceability
  • Reduces the need for additional sealing compounds
