  • Available in a variety of fastener styles, including socket head cap screws

  • Overcomes the tendency of galling when fastening stainless steel or aluminum
  • Reduces contamination and rework to improve productivity and lower costs
  • When used with the TORX PLUS® Drive, fasteners are less susceptible to recess damage during assembly, as compared to other drive systems

MICROtech® Finish
The MICROtech finish was specially developed for high-tech fasteners used in clean rooms.

  • Can be used with fasteners manufactured from Camcar's CAMTRONIC anti-galling material
  • Highly polished appearance
  • Meets Class 100 Clean Room specifications
  • Electrochemical cleaning process

  • Available in a variety of metals and thread sizes
  • Comes standard with ribs
  • Handles a wide range of material thicknesses
  • Inserted by standard presses or rivet-setting machines

  • Acts as a nut plate, nut plate & pivot bearing, nut plate & spacer, nut & bushing, or nut & rivet
  • High push-out resistance
  • Solid rotational resistance
  • Can be used in thin materials

TORX PLUS® Drive System    Mini Site   Technical Data
TORX PLUS Drive is a significant improvement over the original TORX Drive System design that was pioneered by Camcar more than 25 years ago. Stronger and more versatile, TORX PLUS Drive further improves tool life and performance, while improving worker productivity and reducing fatigue.

  • Engineered elliptical geometric configuration
  • 50% reduction in drive tool tolerance
  • Larger cross section at the lobes
  • 25% average improvement in driver bit torsional strength
  • True 0 degree angle to eliminate radial forces
  • Fully compatible with existing TORX Drive tools
  • Can be used with fastener diameters from M0.6 to M24 (#000 to 1")

  • 100% average improvement in driver bit life
  • Reduces assembly line downtime; improves reliability
  • Improved fit between tool and fastener recess
  • Higher torque transfer capability
  • Reduces worker fatigue

Miniature Fasteners
Screws are made in sizes as small as M0.6 or #000.

  • Wide variety of shapes, styles and materials
  • Miniature sems available
  • Lengths down to 3 pitch
  • Diameters as small as M0.6 or #000
  • Thread-formers for metals and plastics are available
  • Cold formed

  • Reduces costs over screw machined fasteners
  • Allows product downsizing
  • Reduces assembly costs and problems
  • High-quality manufacturing processes

Mag-FormTM Thread Forming Fasteners
Mag-Form fasteners minimize debris generation when tapping into conventional magnesium and other materials with low ductility.

  • Lobular configuration
  • Wide-spaced thread design
  • Broad flank angle compresses, rather than roll-forms, threads into the mating material

  • Minimizes debris generation
  • Forms strong threads in materials with low ductility
  • Can easily be removed and reinserted for service in the field

Sems Fasteners
Sems threaded fasteners are assemblies that combine fasteners with washers, collars, specialized stampings, or other components.

  • Components are captivated onto the fastener
  • Single component assembly
  • Sizes from M1 to M12 (#00 to 5/8")
  • Wide variety of component and fastener styles available

  • Eliminates hand assembly of washers
  • Increases production; ensures product integrity
  • Assures proper fastener and washer match
  • Simplifies purchasing and inventory control
  • Eliminates lost, dropped, or forgotten washers

Taptite® Fasteners   Technical Data
Taptite fasteners roll-form threads as they are driven.

  • SPC provides a controlled process
  • Tri-lobular thread form
  • Tight dimensional tolerance controls
  • Consistent thread profile
  • Sizes from M1.6 to M16 (000-90 to 5/8-11")

  • Eliminates tapping costs
  • Resists vibration loosening to IFI-124 and 524 standards
  • Lower, more consistent drive torque
  • Excellent drive-to-fail ratio

Plastite® Fasteners   Technical Data
