Cold Formed Components
Cold forming offers incredible design flexibility and several advantages over screw machining.

  • Tight tolerances can be held, especially for critical applications
  • Uninterrupted grain flow since material is moved, rather than removed
  • Many additional shapes are possible when combined with secondary machining
  • Wide variety of shapes available
  • Size Ranges are 1.27mm(.050") to 40mm(1.5") in diameter and up to 432 mm(17") in length

  • Conserves raw materials; can reduce scrap by 80% or more
  • Multi-piece components can be manufactured as one-piece components
  • Intricate designs can be manufactured, while minimizing costs
  • CNC machining meets tight tolerance requirements

Ball Studs
Centerless ground and precision-turned ball studs can achieve net or near-net shapes.

  • In-house heat treat facilities for case, core, and induction hardening
  • Body diameters up to 1-5/8"
  • Lengths up to 10"
  • On-site metallurgical analysis

  • Quality assurance system assures lot traceability
  • Special packaging for part protection
  • Improves surface finish
  • Improves fatigue life

Solid Rivets/Shoulder Rivets
Solid Rivets and Shoulder Rivets are permanent fasteners for all types of metals.

  • Shoulder rivet diameters from 1/8" to 5/8"
  • Cold-formed by single or multi-blow headers
  • Large rivet diameters from 1/2" to 3/4"
  • Small rivet diameters from 1/8" to 7/16"
  • Joins dissimilar materials of varied hardness and thickness
  • Round, square, "D" shape, and hex tenon body styles
  • Multiple shoulder styles; can be used spacers
  • Wide variety of standard and special head styles

  • Precision rivets with excellent shear and compressive strengths
  • Rapid installation for automated assembly operations
  • Low cost

Clevis Pins
Clevis Pins are used as pivots with clevises and rod-end eyes for agricultural, lawn, and construction equipment applications.

  • Diameters from 3/16" to 3/4"
  • Wide variety of standard and special head styles
  • Special lengths and multiple holes available

  • SAE standard clevis pins in stock
  • Burr-free countersunk holes

Special Pins - Grooved
Radial grooves are used with external "E" series and retaining rings.

  • Wide variety of standard and special head styles
  • Diameters from 1/8" to 1/2"
  • Tight body diameter tolerances
  • Special lengths and multiple grooves are available
  • Radial grooves are used with external "E" series and retaining rings
  • Rolled, grooved, and shaved dimensions

Special Pins - Knurled
Serrated around the nominal diameter of a cylindrical part.

  • Standard and special head styles
  • Special lengths available
  • Diameters from 1/8" to 5/8"
  • Straight, diagonal, diamond, and special knurls
