Highly Energy Efficient
With its unique, patented machanism the TX2000 is not only quick in operation it is also very energy efficient: it can place over 600 3/16” Steel Avex fasteners per charge. And because the motor only has to travel in one direction the power consumption is decreased and wear on the motor and gearbox is minimized.
 
Short Cycle Times
With an average cycle time of just two seconds at full stroke, the TX2000 does its work quickly and reliably. Placing 38 3/16” Steel Avex per minute reduces assembly times and increases operator productivity.
 
Places a Wide Variety of Breakstem Fasteners
Placing the wide range of Avdel Cherry brand breakstem fasteners up to ¼” in aluminium and stainless steel and 3/16” in steel, the TX2000 brings the benefits of blind sided assembly to applications where air lines or power cables are not practical. It will also place a wide range of stainless steel and copper fasteners.
 
Intelligent Rapid Battery Charger
The battery charger supplied with the TX2000 has intelligence designed in: it overcomes the memory effect that can occur using rechargable batteries, supports continuous recharging and can fully charge a battery from flat in 40 minutes. And with a life of 10,000 charge cycles, it’s suitable for both Ni-Cd and Ni-MH batteries.
 
Long-Life, High Performance Battery
The battery technology enhances the inherent efficiency of the patented technology used in the TX2000, enabling over 600 3/16” Steel Avex to be placed per charge. The 2.0 Ah battery can be charged up to 1000 times, charges in 40 minutes and has built-in overheat protection when charging to match the intelligence of the rapid charger.
 
Reliable, Robust and Rugged
The strong plastic outer case offers a level of robustness matched by the internal components, all of which have been thoroughly tested to ensure a long working life.
 
Overload Protection
Adding to the robustness of the core components, the integral electronic circuit and pressure relief system shut off the tool in overload conditions as a protection measure. Releasing the trigger resets the control circuit and the tool is ready for work again.
 
Integral, Quick Emptying Stem Collector
The integral translucent stem collector avoids the safety hazards of loose stems in the work environment, and the design provides protection against accidental stem ejection should the tool be operated inadvertently with the stem collector open.
 
Convenient Nose Tip Change
The TX2000 comes supplied with the 3 most commonly used nose tips--71210-16070 (supplied fitted), 71210-05002 and 07381-04701(stored on the tool--and a nose tip wrench stored on the tool, providing quick and easy changeover of nose tips to match the fastener being used.
 
Tamper-Resistant Casing
The robust casing of the TX2000 has been designed such that there are no access holes through to the tool internals, safeguarding the integrity of the tool.
