Viscoelastic Damping Adhesive Transfer Tapes
A wide range of industries face problems associated with vibration. Their products require solutions that result in quiet and stable operation as well as shock resistance. A broadly accepted solution is to "damp" metal and plastic surfaces to reduce vibration using 3M™ Viscoelastic Damping Polymers.

3M™ Viscoelastic Damping Polymer 110, 112 and 130, have different damping temperature ranges and can be used for automotive, aerospace, electrical and general industries. Also, 3M™ Ultra-pure Viscoelastic Damping Polymer 242 is ideal for use in damping applications that require very low outgassing and ionic levels, such as in the hard disc drive industries.
